WHAT ARE THE SOURCES A CHRISTIAN DRAWS FROM FOR HIS PRAYER?

They are:

• The Word of God contained in Sacred Scripture

• The liturgy of the Church, especially the Sacraments. and the Liturgy of the Hours

• The theological virtues: Faith, Hope and Charity

• The daily events, with their joys and sorrows.

A Christian should make use of all these sources in a complementary manner, always giving first place to the Eucharistic Celebration, which is the source and summit of the entire life of the Christian and the Church, as well as model of every form of prayer.
